This Burgundy blend from mainly Pinot Gris & Chardonnay begins with a nice piquancy (onion pakora). The dash of Welschriesling also gives the nose a round dance of apple blossoms and Golden Delicious. Firm and with a fruity core – again apple and some pear – this Seewinkler white wine is a pleasure on many occasions. Pasta with light sauces or – more committed to Burgenland! – Grammelpogatscherl would be an ideal match. Whereby: This list can be continued for a long time. Just find your Heideboden moment!
